Responsible

Today, I was responsible for taking care of Hoppers, the rabbit belonging to my son's third grade class. Tomorrow my son returns Hoppers so the next student can care for him. That won't be happening because Hoppers hopped out my fifth story window. FML

Today, I was on a date with this girl I really liked. After a movie, we decided to walk down an alley so I can sneak in a kiss, but as we stopped near an apartment building, a bunny fell from the sky and hit her on her head, then splat on the pavement and it got all over our clothes. She was so freaked out she ran, and I never saw her again. FML.

I'm not going to lie. The rabbit is a small price to pay. You can always go get another that looks like the one from your kids class. The part that concerns me is that a rabbit fell out of a window in your home. As an EMT, its not uncommon for us to get children who fall out the window during the warm months. If the rabbit died from falling, good chance your children could as well. Let the rabbit's death be a sign that you need to childproof your home.

just get a replacement rabbit, they won't know the difference. and find some recipes, I hear rabbit meat is tasty (no reason for it to go to waste, especially since it's already tenderized)

hmm i thought animals were smarter than that... i have three cats, all three of which sit on the balcony in my house all the time. they never jump though. (shrugs) i guess rabbits are wired differently. RIP Hoppers

LOL.. sorry that reminds me of Just Married when the dog jumps out the window, and btw i think the concept of it jumping out the window is funny, not the fact that it did jump out the window.
