Today, my best friend set me up on a blind date with someone he said was very hot. I'm not exactly what you call fit, so I haven't been dating lately. As soon as I got to the restaurant, I spotted the girl. She looked me up and down, said, "You have GOT to be kidding me" and left. FML

Today, I went on a blind date that my best friend had set up for me. When I arrived, I introduced myself and we sat at the table. After we ordered our food, he asked the waiter for some crayons and a kid's menu, and colored for the half hour before our food came. He didn't talk to me at all. FML

Today, I went on a blind date that my friend set up at a coffee shop. I arrived early, feeling nervous but excited. As I sat waiting, I noticed a person waving at me from across the room. I smiled and waved back, only to realize that they were actually waving at someone behind me. My date never showed up. FML

Today, I went on a blind date, even though the whole concept freaks me out a bit. My date showed up with his sister, who sat at our table and critiqued everything we did, from how I chewed my food, to the way we nervously laughed. He hardly said a word the whole time. FML

you know what?? thats probably the only date hes had, so dont feel bad! and, another thing, i saw the most hideous guy with a messed up face running and as i was trying to decide what was wrong with him, he up and yells loser at me, then calls me firecrotch when i have brunnete hair. people say dumb things:)

People say dumb things, yes. The boy in your story, however, did not. You were "trying to decide what was wrong" with his "messed up face." If he'd been burned or something, he probably gets treated like a circus freak. I'm sure you'd get pissy too if you had to constantly deal with stares of disgust, nosy questions, and the like. His "messed up face" may not be his fault. Your judgemental attitude, however, is ENTIRELY your fault.

dont you hate if when really ugly girls (the fml writer) have too high standards for the opposite sex? take what you can get...which is probably next to nothing.
