Scammed

Today, my twit of a husband admitted to falling for an internet scam involving a dead foreign politician, the promise of a share in millions of dollars currently stuck in a bank, and him having wired a large amount of our money to "bribe an official". FML

Yeah I got that email too, lol but really you're husband is either too innocent or too dumb , either ways FYL indeed

You married the guy! Oh and you give him access to that kind of money? YDI!

Really now? I usually hear about women falling for those nigerian scams, not men... wait, those were love scams.

Should have watched to catch a con man on dateline.... It was literally just on yesterday.

At least he admitted it. Some of those scams get pretty elaborate actually...with official documentation, notorization stamps, stationary from banks, contracts, paper trails. All perfectly legitimate looking, but totally fake. Though no matter how convincing the paperwork you receive throughout the process is, it still doesn't forgive the initial failure of falling for the first email.

You don't deserve it, but he certainly does. Sorry to hear that.

Hmmm... Seems fishy to me. Maybe he used that money for something else and needed to come up with an excuse. Of course that could just be the "No one is that dumb" talking.
