At least he admitted it. Some of those scams get pretty elaborate actually...with official documentation, notorization stamps, stationary from banks, contracts, paper trails. All perfectly legitimate looking, but totally fake. Though no matter how convincing the paperwork you receive throughout the process is, it still doesn't forgive the initial failure of falling for the first email.
