Scammed

Today, my twit of a husband admitted to falling for an internet scam involving a dead foreign politician, the promise of a share in millions of dollars currently stuck in a bank, and him having wired a large amount of our money to "bribe an official". FML

Scam? Does this mean I'm not getting my money back..?

Divorce, no. Locked away from bank assets and big money decisions, yes.

I'm interested to know about the men who created this scam. Guy #1: "Hey bud, check this out. I created this hilarious scam to make money. Classic story" Guy #2: "Ha. It'd take an idiot to fall for that one." (checks online banking) " Wha the...!!!"

Really?! You sure he didn’t spend the money on other extra-curricular activities or on something else.... .... Just something to think about unless you know for sure he was a muppet and duped into giving away loads of money

Time for a divorce. Your twit of a husband is now an official retard.

He may be stupid, but a divorce seems harsh.

i hope this isn't true. i would murder him. i feel so horrible for you.

I usually get the nigerian scam emails about some "general or ambassador" who needed money.
