I know the feeling. xD. Mom blows up on them once and they're terrified forever. Especially when my ex even tries emailing an apology to my mom and ends up having an anxiety attack in the process. -

That's crap OP. Parents can be the pits in any relationship if they act like total beasts! I had a boyfriend whose mother was a dragon! I hated her more than I hated my own parents (long story)
