Please go to the doctor and/or a psychiatrist. Hallucinating is not a normal symptom of depression.
Get a dog.
If OP is starting to hallucinate, now might not be the time to get a living being. While waiting for that elusive psychiatrist referral, maybe volunteer at an animal shelter? Go to a cat cafe? Say hello to random dogs on the street? Search "psy with a dog" on Google?
Especially if the dog is named Sam and tells you he's your father.
You…uh, may need to be hospitalized.
Go get help. Hallucinations are not normal with depression. Your brain may not be making the chemicals that your brain and body need to function. Also if you don't have a pet get one. Preferably a dog. The dog will force you to get up and go take a walk.
