Today, I was working my job at Sephora when I overheard two women talking. One of them asked her friend, "Is being pretty a requirement to work here?" Her friend turned to see me, turned back to her friend and said, "I guess not." FML

Today, a shopper approached me at Target and said, "So are you just gonna stand there to look pretty and do nothing around here?" I ignored his comment, until he got so upset that he wanted to speak to my manager. It would have been understandable if I actually worked there. FML

Today, I was walking to work and saw three guys sitting at a table outside. One of the guys looks at me and says to his friends, "That's the girl that works at the grocery store. She replaced the hot chick." The other two guys glared at me. FML

Apparently. Thankfully the only place I've experienced such low blows is when I applied to starbucks a few weeks ago. Stereotypical Blonde #1 told me I can't work there cause I'll make the customers sick cause I'm not pretty, while Stereotypical Blonde #2 is busy texting on her phone while she's letting the milk curdle for my order.
