If it was stated in the contract what you would be editing, then it’s on you for not having read the contract (regardless of what the client said outside of the contract). If it was not started in the contract at all, then you have no obligation to continue the project, as the client has already breached the contract. Either way, sorry you had to go through all of that. Hopefully you can recover soon.

I really think someone who suffered sexual abuse and just had a trigger event deserve a little more compassion. Do you not think that as an abuse survivor she would have been wary?
