Shut up!

Today, I lost power. That didn't stop my house alarm from running on battery, loudly informing me in a British accent, "AC power disconnected. BEEP. AC power disconnected. BEEP." It's been going on for 5 hours and the battery takes a special screwdriver to remove. One we don't have. FML

Go buy the right screwdriver? Wouldn't take anyone else 5 hours to figure that out

Leave! Go to Chuck E Cheese's or something.

This is the plot to an episode of Friends also.

That's why God created hammers.

Excuse me, but there isn't such a thing as a British accent. English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish, maybe, but not "British".

I posted this. During the hurricane when the road was closed, so getting a screwdriver wasn't really possible. If security alarms were easy to remove batteries from, they wouldn't really do their job. I turned the volume down and went upstairs, but damn was that thing annoying.

that special screwdriver can easily be replaced by a hammer

So in the UK everything has American accents, in the USA they have British accents? Can we swap :(
