Today, I was riding a longboard down a hill and I fell off. I was all scraped up so I made sure to clean my wounds and put bandages on them. Turns out I'm allergic to the glue on the bandages and I have itchy hives all over and around my open wounds. FML

ouch... It enought that they get itchy when they start to heal, i can't imagine having hives while they are still raw...

or it's a recently developed allergy. allergies can do that. A few years ago I developed an allergy to Neosporin that id never had before

This actually happens to me all the time, I'm used to it.

it's not glue. it is adhesive. those are very different things.

If you used antibiotic ointment you should make sure it's not that you're allergic to! it's a pretty common allergy to develop. for the past few years I thought I had suddenly developed a band-aid allergy, but ive now determined that I'm actually allergic to antibiotic ointment. And people, it's quite common to develop allergies at any time of life, you don't have to be born with them.

dude!!! that legit JUST happened to me!!!! well not the longboard part the reaction to the bandaid part!!

Dude! I feel your pain that happens to me too! only I found out when I was little when the same thing happened with the fun character band-aides
