Slippery slope

Today, I went skiing for the very first time and spent more time falling down than actually skiing. Despite the fact that I'm up here in the mountains for another week with my family, I'm never trying that again. FML

everyone falls constantly at first. just like you did learning to walk. you gotta learn and find your groove

Everybody falls. Especially at first Maybe downhill skiing is not for you. Try Cross Country. slower pace, some uphill some down, but nowhere near the speed. My last XC trip over Christmas I had some YouTube Worthy falls, and I've been in skis for over 40 years. just not that downhill stuff. Nope that stuff scares me. Trees don't move for you.

Well you deserve it for giving up so easily then

Hang out in the ski lodge and watch Sonny & Cher reruns and Natasha Richardson movies. This will prove to you that you're the only smart one there and everyone else is an idiot with a death-wish.

Learning to snowboard spent most of first 3 days crashing/falling. Anything worth doing is worth risking being bad at when you start.

Did you french fry when you were supposed to pizza? If you do that you're gonna have a bad time.
