Smothered

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2011 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I wrote "I love you" on my girlfriend's Facebook wall. She completely freaked out and accused me of being "too clingy" and that I'm starting to feel more like a stalker than a boyfriend. FML

She's worried about some other dude she's friends with on Facebook seeing it. Get rid of her cause she's probably letting some other dude wreck it when she's not with you.

I don't get what's so wrong about saying how you feel about the person you're with on their facebook wall. It shows that you're not afraid to say it in front of your friends and family. I had an ex where he thought i was "obsessed" with him because i would post on his wall or mention him in my status once in a while. He was my bf and i am so glad he's not anymore because i have found someone who loves me for me and we share the same feelings for each other. Also that ex i was talking about texted me one day and said i was "obsessed" with my bf that im with now because i say i love in every post i put on his wall. Well guess what i blocked that ex and deleted his number. Haha well sorry bout the life story. But yeah OP if she freaked out over that then maybe you shouldnt be with her

Or maybe some people just don't feel that the entire planet has to be privy to their personal life. Or maybe OP has a history of being insecure. Or maybe OPs GF has seen the wall to wall with his ex gf and doesn't feel posting this stuff online is anything special.

I'm with 150 on this. I love my boyfriend but if he ever posts anything mushy and romantic publicly on my wall, I reserve the right to make fun of him. ;)

While that alone is pretty innocuous, I can't help but wonder if there's a bit more to her complaint than just this.

It's okay I feel your pain my ex boyfriend wouldn't even acknowledged that I put anything on there. Then broke up with me
