Today, someone drove into my car at an intersection and drove off. Luckily, I got the car's registration plate and called the cops on them. Turns out, it was my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend, who was illegally driving without a license. Now everyone's mad at me for getting her in trouble. FML

It sounds like "they" have a hard time taking responsibility for their own actions. Don't let them make you think you did something wrong. And if your boyfriend is siding with "they" it's time to re-think that relationship.

That's so stupid. They should be mad at her, not you. She was driving illegally, caused an accident, and then fled the scene. Ridiculous. Hope you're ok!

You didn't get her in trouble, she got herself in trouble by being an idiot. Hopefully your boyfriend is on your side about this at least, as it's glaringly obvious you are not to blame. At all.

Well, screw them. If that includes the boyfriend, at the very least no sexy times for him. She was the one in the wrong. On multiple counts - driving illegally, hit and run, and leaving the scene of an accident. In addition, you most likely couldn't have known it was her. I hope there's insurance, and you get your car fully fixed OP!

Screw them! Even if you knew it was her, did they really think you would let her slide for the damages she has caused? Either way they're in the wrong especially for promoting illegal driving. Fyl
