Sorry Mr Nibbles

Today, I was at my boyfriend's house, meeting his family for the first time. We were all standing in the kitchen when suddenly a small white and brown mouse ran by. Out of natural instinct, I stomped on it. Turns out, it was his little sister's pet mouse that had gotten out of its cage earlier. FML

Wild Mouse appeared! JustMyLuck used Stomp! It's Super Effective! Wild Mouse fainted!

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?! Why the hell would you ever step on a mouse? It's not a bug! You are sick and absolutely deserve it.

Since people have confused "monkey" with "ape"

my first instinct would be to not be a dumbass. we're a little different, i guess

Who the ****'s first reflex when seeing a mouse would be to STOMP ON IT?

that is sooooooooooooooo messed up! you should seriously feel guilty for that even if it wasn't a pet.

YDI for killing a harmless little animal "instinctively" WTF??

Natural instinct? I understand, it's like my natural instinct to run over people on sidewalks.

Reflex can't count for a natural instinct or natural reaction at all? Rather than auto-slapping someone with a number of bogus sweeping generalizations, it wouldn't hurt your credibility to think a little more before speaking up, even if it is a YDI (which it most certainly is). Besides that, had it been a real pest they might have actually thanked her. Merely tossing rodents out isn't going to stop them from finding their way back in. It's especially a problem if you can't find out how or where they got inside in the first place. Real life dictates as what needs must, even if there are definitely better ways of catching and killing vermin than squashing them (although less expedient, at least they're less messy). So, plus some points for effort but minus several for style, you're getting a YDI despite the fact that the residents should've warned you about the critter when you came in (assuming they already knew about little Runaway Ralph there). Even if it does turn out to be partially their fault, helping pay for some sort of replacement probably wouldn't hurt either.

Why the **** does she have a mouse? I'm glad you killed it. And number 212, why the **** would someone BUY a mouse? do they even sell them anywhere?

Just because you don't like mice doesn't mean they're not fun pets. I had 2 =) They are very cute. They were actually in the pet shop as feeder mice for large snakes but we saved them. I would say why would anybody want a snake for a pet! I'm not afraid of them, I just don't think they'd be much fun, but then again some people love them so whatever floats your boat. OP: FYL and YDI. They should have told you it was loose when you got there so this wouldn't have happend. But even if they did, if it really is your "natural instinct" you would have stepped on it anyway, so YDI.

Wowww you sound brilliant. :/ Way to shove your opinion onto other people. You don't like the idea of having a mouse as a pet, therefore anyone else's pet mouse should be stomped? Your logic is amazing. And yes, many pet stores sell mice, and not just as food for other animals.

gotta get that guy from green mile to heal mr jingles.....again...

You deserve it for having a natural instinct to stomp small animals to death.
