Today, I went to my best friend's birthday party. After about 15 minutes, I noticed a girl, possibly one of his sister's friends, wearing the same shirt as me. I'm a 23 year-old bloke. She didn't look a day over 14. FML

Today, I was helping my friend with her little sister's birthday party. We were playing a game where you get up and switch seats if you've done a certain thing. One girl said to switch if you've kissed a boy. I watched as 18 12-year-olds switched seats with each other. I stayed sitting. I'm 17. FML

Today, it’s my girlfriend’s birthday. I took her out to her favorite restaurant to celebrate. The waitress serving us looked oddly familiar but I didn’t think anything of it until she said when we collected the check, “Aren’t you my sister’s husband?” I forgot she had a younger sister who worked here. FML

Today, I went to the bar to celebrate my friend's birthday party. I gave the bouncer my ID and he kicked me out, saying that I should at least use an ID card with the correct gender. I'm 22 and female, he thought I was an underage boy. FML

Today, I went to a friend's sweet sixteen. Since I didn't know any else at the party I was really happy when the mother told me she sat me next to someone she thought I would have a lot in common with. He ended up being mentally challenged and talked to a sock puppet the whole party. FML

so? my sister used to have this red hot chili peppers shirt that she wore all the time, and a couple months ago i saw some fat, bald, old guy wearing the same shirt at an auto parts store, then a freaky fat guy with a goatee wearing it on a TV show. doesn't really matter.

OP: clarify next time - there is no way to discern if this a FML or YDI. Was it a T-shirt or a form fitting formal shirt? ROFL or was it one of those one shoulder shirts? If that's the case, it's a total YDI Know what? YDI for being unclear so I'm going to assume it was the latter choice ; P
