Brush it off and just forget about it. Every performer will do a slightly embarrassing thing on stage from time to time and the best thing will always be your ability to laugh about it later.
And at least you caught it before it completely fell and knocked anything else over too. (I can just picture it hitting another stand and causing a domino effect!) :)
If Freud saw this he'd say it was sexual tension that was built up. Subconsciously made people draw their attention to your flute ?

Good thing you don't have social anxiety
I used to hit my stand all the time. Or fumble with music. It happens to the best of us op
That is some bad luck right there. One time, in the middle of a percussion ensemble piece in which I played glockenspiel, my glockenspiel started rolling forward because I didn't put the brakes on. I don't think anyone saw though.
I remember one time during a band rehearsal, my music stand leaned forwards, so to stop it from falling, I stepped on the bottom of the stand to keep it from falling, and just like a rake, the stand hit me square in the face.
Wait...is the flute ok?

Don't worry. Flutes tend to go flying every once in a while! Just laugh it off.
I did this way too often during high school
