Stop talking now!

Today, I went over to my girlfriend's house for dinner. Her parents seemed upset, so I tried to lighten the mood by saying, "Hey, at least the weekend is coming up and you guys won't have to go to work." Apparently, they were upset because they both got laid off from their jobs today. FML

I love that a lot of FML's seem to happen because couples don't tell each other anything. If I was the girlfriend I would've given my boyfriend a heads up.

Awww, that's not really your fault at all! If your girlfriends' parents frequented FML, they'd have the right to post about their losses~ I hope it just wasn't too awkward after you all talked about it! (:

Awww. That sucks. P.S.- Thank God for number 61! I ONLY watch Fox. They have the facts. Oh, and I'm not a fan of Obama either. I can respect others opinions though.

If that was me I would have just left.

Your girlfriend should've told you before you got there.

ahahahaha, i love how half of the FML's posted get comments that end up in debates about all sorts of things, rather than actually commenting on the FML. It's really quite entertaining and most of the time i'm on this site i just read these crazy debates. thanks guys :D

I love it. I do that all the time. Usually I get involved. Gives me something to do with my free time. It's really great how this one has two going on. Obama vs McCain AND the Healthcare debate. :D
