Today, I noticed a weird smell coming from my four year-old daughter's room. I went to investigate and found she had been using (and hiding) her garbage can as a toilet, for when she "can't make it in time." FML

you just jinked it. My parents had plans too, they were going to wait 5 years. Eleven months later they welcomed their first pill baby. Good luck to you and your fiance

At four years old that is a relatively considerate way of doing her business. At least she is not: peeing in her bed, peeing under her bed, peeing in her clothes, or in a toy box, cupboard or the floor and covering it with her soft toys. Frustrating, but not really and FML.
