I seriously doubt you were "forced". A simple, "No. Take care of your own ******* kids." would have worked just fine.
I don't know, if the sister and boyfriend just walked off, OP would have to either stay and babysit or leave the kids alone, which she might not want to do depending on how young they are.
If the kids parents have nerve enough to just walk off, I would too.. F the kids' L
If they just walked off I would tell the kids they need to follow/ stay with their mom, and then leave in the opposite direction. Not my problem anymore.

They have 5 kids and none were old enough to watch the younger ones? I'd probably leave the oldest in charge, go into the adult zone, 'casually' bump into your sister and explain that you're not the one responsible for them, especially when on vacation. If she freaks out and gets mad at you, that's her problem. If she didn't want to deal with them, she should have made other arrangements.
Next time try telling them to be parents and take care of their kids. If that doesn't work just tell them to **** off. Not giving a damn can come in handy sometimes.
That's nice of you to do for an hour or so, but it ends now.
most cruises have a kid's club you can drop them off at and they'll watch them for you. you may want to look into if your cruise has that. also, throw your sister and her deadbeat boyfriend overboard.

If the mom wanted to use this vacation as a break from the kids, she should have made arrangements beforehand, and not assumed that her sister would watch them for her. OP wanted to use this vacation as a vacation. Not as a chance to babysit for free.

If you shell out a couple grand for a cruise, there is no "Suck it up" outside of a cocktail going up a straw into your mouth.
Why? It is OP's vacation too. I doubt she wants to be forced to take care of 5 bratty kids for the whole vacation.
Leave them right now and if they get in trouble its the parents fault

Forced? Be honest, you allowed yourself to be talked into it. You need to stand up for yourself, then enjoy your cruise and let your sister and the asshole take care of their own damned kids while you have fun.
You paid for it, you could have just left and did your own thing before they did.
