Today, while on a cruise that I paid for, I was forced to babysit my 5 bratty nieces while my sister and her deadbeat boyfriend relaxed in the kid free zone. FML

Forced? Be honest, you allowed yourself to be talked into it. You need to stand up for yourself, then enjoy your cruise and let your sister and the asshole take care of their own damned kids while you have fun.

No offense intended OP but you could have said no and walked away. They are your sisters kids and if something happens its on her. So you kinda deserve it for letting yourself get suckered into it.

You should just walk away and tell them to take care of their kids. My brother tried neglecting his child in hopes that my parents would take care of my niece so he could have a "vacation" Simply say "no."
