Tell me now!

Today, I realized that my two year-old likes to help with the groceries. And by help, I mean hide a bag of chicken. It's been two weeks since I went grocery shopping and I still can't find it, but it smells like something died in my house. FML

Have you tried asking your son? He's old enough to understand you and he might remember.

Or daughter. I just realized you didn't specify.

Is it just me or am I'm afraid of what may crawl around that 2 week old raw chicken when OP finds it.

You must be blind or not very bright because he's 2. You should be able to find the chicken. Just go room by room and look otherwise whatever room gets mice first is where it's at

should've ask him where it was, hes/she is old enough to understand what youre saying

The smell of death would be the decomposing dead animal. I mean, if it's that pungent it shouldn't be that hard to locate.
