If you have a workplace that schedules shifts, and you let your manager know ahead of time that you cannot make it to a shift and they find a replacement, the blame should not fall on you if the other person doesn't show up. The blame should, of course, fall to the person who agreed to cover your shift then didn't do so.
do you work for dominos pizza on iroqouis?
Did you let your boss know you were switching shifts or did you just tell your colleague to show up and cover for you? If you didn't tell him you weren't coming in then of course he's going to call you and bitch you out.
Don't worry, your boss will get his punishment too. Karma will kick in and you will be the one smiling and driving !
In most jobs if you have someone cover for you and they do not show up then you are both in trouble but more so the original worker due to the fact that it was YOUR shift. Which means your responsibility to be there.
ON THE PAGE BEFOR THIS POST I SAW THIS ONE Today, I saw a photo on Instagram of my friend flipping the camera the bird. She'd tagged it under "irony", so I jokingly suggested that she borrow a dictionary. She responded with a tirade of abuse, claimed to be sleeping with my boyfriend, and blocked me an hour later. FML THIS WAS THE REPLY the bigger bitch. Tell her that there's a vicious rumor about her having an STD and you are letting it continue because "it's way too funny."
Nice colleague.....
Call human resources on your boss. If a co-worker agrees to cover for and your boss knows about it. It's the co-workers problem after not yours
Not really, depends on company policy.
Ouch! Sorry to hear that! Punch them all in the face! Lol fyl!

If you didn't answer it, you shouldn't have failed unless you actually were a shitty driver.
Turn your phone off next time... And explain your situation to your boss
