Sociopaths are people who are unable to feel guilt. I'm not sure if your school system in the States has any such thing, but see if you can get her checked for "Conduct Disorder" (a nice way of saying 'under-aged sociopath). When I say unable to feel guilt, I mean kill a baby for the candy type-thing, so long as they aren't worried about getting caught and therefore losing privilege. Yeah, there's no nice way to say your child may lack the ability to feel empathy, but at least if you find out she does you can protect yourself.
