Am I the only one who didn't automatically assume she was a teenager? Just that her mom was there to help?
Dear #84, WHAT is with you?? It says NOWHERE in the post that a) she is a teen or b) she is living with her mom. Many people have pointed out that her husband/boyfriend could be at work, or could in the army and is shipped out, or that her mother is just coming over to visit her pregnant daughter, as would seem logical for a mother to do. to all you people who think 36 weeks is the normal pregnancy length... it's just NOT.
HAHAHAHA #7... i laughed so hard i dont know whyyy when i read that
being a teenaged mother doesn't necessarily make you a ****.. people are allowed to make mistakes. just throwing that out there. also, as several have pointed out, nowhere in the post did it say she was a teen, or was living at home, or didn't have a job/career/husband, etc... i love how judgemental people on this site can be. and lol @ 23
#93: A pregnancy is usually listed as 40 weeks. Counted from the last period (where you actually had it, not missed it). Around 38 weeks if it's not from then, but actual conception. She's not late, she's probably still two weeks to go. Also to all those saying induce: doctors try not to induce until your past due by around a week I believe unless there's major medical reasons. Who knows, maybe she has high blood pressure, and they did a test on if the baby can be delivered, but it's not matured enough lung wise yet. Either way, the point it, she's still two weeks from being full-term, and that's if they calculated right.

Your mom's rude! She definitely shouldn't say that to you!
Or her mother could have been at her house because she was placed on bedrest and needs someone to take care of her. Good lord, people.
