Today, I was talking to my boyfriend, feeling pretty low. I said something along the lines of, "You like me even when I look like shit." He replied, "Ah, that's just how you naturally look." FML

I don't see the problem here. He admitted that he likes you all the time, even at your lowest. Even though you think you look bad, either he doesn't or it doesn't matter to him. Either way, you win.

Sometimes when a female asks "How do I look?" they are genuine and not fishing for a compliment. A response my bf gives is "I don't like that shirt on you" or "your hair looks great from the front but its doing something funky in the back". All good feedback!

I like how girlfriends or women aren't even allows to tell their boyfriends how they are feeling if it has anything to do with appearance, in which case they're obviously fishing for compliments. The OP was just saying how her bf likes her when she looks like crap, that isn't even close to fishing for anything.
