Today, I finished off the last of the BBQ chips in the house. When my 6-year-old sister found out about it, she started screaming, then pulled down her pants and peed on the kitchen floor. My parents, after witnessing the whole thing, bitched me out for upsetting her. FML

Today, I was babysitting my cousin when I realized my aunt didn't tell me where the diapers were. I searched the entire house, but I had no luck. Then my cousin ripped off the diaper she was wearing and peed on the kitchen floor. FML

Today, I got into a fight with my sister. Later on she brought me a bowl of tortilla chips, which I thought was her way of apologizing. I found out too late that she'd licked the flavoring off them and it was really her way of saying "Fuck you." FML

Today, my sister and her two-year-old came to my place for a visit. Not long after arriving, my niece ripped off her diaper and immediately took a dump on my white carpet. Guess who had to 'suddenly' leave afterwards, leaving me to clean up the mess. FML

I am so sick of all these FMLs lately about bratty siblings not getting punished, but rather the OP gets blamed instead. If I had done that as a kid, I would have had my ass kicked/smacked/whipped. This is why kids turn into troublemakers as teens and adults - parents aren't parents anymore. They don't discipline their kids because they're afraid if they do, they'll get sued for child abuse. It's sick that that's the world we live in now. I don't even have kids and I'd be a better parent than half the ones I read about on this site. And FYI, that kid's reaction to not having BBQ chips (no wonder childhood obesity is so high these days) was way too much.

why thank you for your baselss generalisations. there were always bratty kids and parents who wouldnt discipline and there were always fat kids. neither is a new problem.

Childhood obesity is a serious problem now, but there's always been shitty parents and bratty kids. Previous generations always say that the newer generations are worse than they were.

Ah children, I work with them everyday and they never cease to amaze me. I have had a few pee in the floor in retaliation, but they were 2 and 3, not 6...
