Today, my daughter tried to sneak out of the house. When I caught her, she freaked out and punched me in the face. She then "snapped out of it" and claimed she was sleepwalking. FML

She obviously needs a lot more rest due to "sleepwalking". Her new bedtime should be 7, just to make sure.

Even if I was "sleepwalking" and punched my mom in the face, she'd still beat the shit outta me.

It's actually very common for sleepwalkers to do some sort of violent or destructive action seconds after being woken up, her story checks out to me.

my family has an history of sleepwalking and all the doctors said that if you try wake them up they can get aggressive but they won't remember they hit you
