Today, while at work as a cashier, I tried to be sweet and ID an elderly man buying a bottle of wine. He responded by calling me a "blind-ass bitch" and calling my manager for "harassing" him. FML

I did this as a server once to a middle aged woman in an attempt to somewhat kiss up; it bit me in the butt though because she didn’t have her ID on her so I couldn’t legally serve her. The rest of their meal was spent with her two grown children asking if she was sure she didn’t want to go somewhere else and her making snide remarks while her husband looked guilty because he had his ID and was able to drink....

Today, I grabbed a fresh hand towel from the drawer in the bathroom. I wiped my hands and noticed they smelled like shit. My 6-year-old had wiped poo from his finger onto the dark grey towels. I guess he sometimes helps the poo out. Good to know. FML

Today, while visiting family in Taipei, I came across a large button that said "PUSH" on it. I was curious and pushed it. A deafening alarm then sounded for the next 10 minutes, attracting concerned neighbours and finally a security guard who informed me that I'd pushed a panic button. FML
