Tell 'em to get stuffed ?
Just tell them to change the dresses if they don't like them, that should avoid you having to put up with the situation and ruining friendships.
your friends suck. this is your day not theres, if they cant wear a stupid dress for five hours for you then drop em
This is why I am buying infinity dresses for my bridesmaids. 1. There's only 2 (MoH and 1 Bridesmaid) 2. My money, they can STFU 3. If they don't like it, they can change it! Beauty of the Infinity dress. If OP gets around to reading this, infinity dresses can be found on Etsy for as cheap as $30 to $100 in nearly any color.
My sister used an infinity dress as well. I love the idea of them. There are so many possibilities!
You could, just for fun, talk to them about it. Find out why they didn't say something BEFORE the dresses were bought. YOu know, communication is key...
Simple fix, you just have to wear a dress uglier than theirs to make them feel better
They helped pick them out, tell them they either cut the crap or they'll be replaced. Surely there are other women in your group of friends of family who'd like to be bridesmaids and won't make a fuss.
"Please remember that you helped me pick these dresses. I didn't hear any of this back then. You had plenty of chances to tell me you didn't like them before the decision was made and you chose not to do that. It's too late to change them now. You only have to wear them for one day." And then don't discuss it any further. This isn't being bridezilla, it's pretty reasonable.
They are terrible friends for putting you through this.

It's YOUR special day, not theirs.
You should remind them about how they helped pick out dresses they hate. I say be "bridezilla" in the sense that you're not going to change something just because they don't like it. It's your special day, not theirs.
