# 38: So what if what if a few people call them assholes/losers. The parents are. I'm a parent, I don't expect my kids to pay me back anything. Yes, I fed and clothed them, so what? Isn't that what I was suppose to do? My JOB, my priority? The only payback I want is them to love and respect me. That's it. The OP doesn't owe her loser parents a DAMN thing. Not one penny. The had no right to do that. No right at all. To the OP: See if you can sue them. What they did was stealing. Unfortunately, this is becoming all too common. Kids are growing up to find that their credit is already shot, because their parents have opened credit accounts in their names and then default on them. I'm sorry....and take care. To whoever said kids can't open accounts without me. My kids did, I didn't sign a damn thing and cannot get to it.
Go through their house and sell a lot of random shit until you meet the 10k mark.
Number 5 is right, your parents are assholes
Think on the brightside.... now you can drown your sorrows by floating in a pool OR watch some mind numbing TV. Seriously though, demand the money back, or get a scholarship, even if you do get a scholarship you should get the money back. Or if your the only one surviving them.............................. kill them (but make it discreet) :)
you're parents should respect you enough not to STEAL your money to buy themselves things that are soooo not necessary. tell them that now you can't afford an education and you will be living off of them for the rest of their lives :)

Sue. Sure, they're your parents, but God, being inconsiderate like that. It's your future.
That really ought to be illegal. You get screwed if your parents don't meet their financial aid obligations for your education, so there should be some legal requirement for your parents to meet those obligations.
