family stealing from family is even worse than if a stranger had done it... If it were my parents they would be hearing from my attorney. #159 has a valid point. Get out as fast as you can....Sorry man, that really sucks!
Wow ur parents suck
Your parents are selfish pigs. Talk to your bank, maybe even talk to a lawyer. I don't know the laws and regulations regarding this, but it's possible you could press charges or sue to have the money returned. What they did was selfish and wrong, period. I don't care if they're parents...that's not a get-out-of-jail-free card. And once you're in college, find ways to not go home, no matter how they beg. And if you can't, just bolt as soon as you can get a job and never look back. You're better off without such worthless swine in your life.
murder them and then collect the money on their life insurance policy. it's what they deserve
wow your parents are really messed up if they are willing to ruin their childs future for themselves

Sue. Sure, they're your parents, but God, being inconsiderate like that. It's your future.
That really ought to be illegal. You get screwed if your parents don't meet their financial aid obligations for your education, so there should be some legal requirement for your parents to meet those obligations.
