ive dealt with children like this... best thing to do? secretly record the child threatening u.... tell him no about something.. then ask him about the threat and watch for the parents, show them the video or recording first and then discuss the rest of what happened while they were gone

Where are these young kids learning how to blackmail. Seriously.
Easy solution, I'd call his parents and till them what he said so that you don't have to explain it later on. They'd believe you if you told them he threatened to lie.

I would tell him to say it again, but record it. Then show that to his parents. Similar situation happened to me and that worked out. Just don't openly show the phone is out, pretend you're texting.
