tape record him saying that or get it on video then ur problem with babysitting solved
Call up the parents, tell them he said that, then refuse to do the job unless they ensure there's no misunderstanding. I think that's reasonable cause to bail on a job, and you wouldn't be to blame in the slightest.
should've taken out your phone , be like what did you say?, then record him repeating it and show it to his parents
Kids are pests. I babysat a 9 year old and I would cook for her, but after ONE bite of the food she'd throw it all away and complain that I didn't feed her ):
Record that and play it for his parents
What a brat. Tell the parents as soon as you can. Maybe tell him to say it again and secretly record him, and show his parents after. Never babysit that brat ever again.
The only thing you can really do is call his parents, tell them you can't babysit and why. See how much trouble the little shit is in when they have to cancel their plans.

I would tell him to say it again, but record it. Then show that to his parents. Similar situation happened to me and that worked out. Just don't openly show the phone is out, pretend you're texting.
What a brat.
