Today, it was my first day working as a pharmacist. I quickly discovered that customers not only think that it makes me qualified to offer free medical advice, but they also have no qualms about showing me their various lumps, bumps, and vaginal leakages. FML

Pharmacists are ranked, year after year, as one of the most trusted occupations. Often times, the customer's situation can be helped by an over the counter product that can be bought in your store.

Wait.... SHOW you vaginal leakage?? Damn, I thought people kept that covered up in public!

As a pharmacy intern who's been working in a pharmacy for the past 4 months, I can tell you it definitely never ceases to amaze me what people are willing to show and tell you about their medical problems

*looks at profile pic* perhaps you should ask OP to diagnose that eye condition you have.

It will get better. I've been working in a pharmacy for 8 years. Some days are bad but it's worth it! Someone called us yesterday though to ask if the pharmacist would cut their toe nails. Wtf? It was a serious caller, too. They really thought we did it!

In nc P.A. Can also write RX my Pham is awesome and I love them. I have a major pain issue n between them n my dr they have helped me be an actual functioning person. Pharm are the science part of the medial part. I also do natural healing with herbs and can talk to the pharma bout those as well, my guys never let me down.

Given that pharmacists can write medical certificates in Australia and he pharmacy guild is pushing for pharmacists to do this work, you must of known this is part of the job.
