When I read this I imagined someone just pulling their pants down in front of a Target pharmacy counter
In their defence, pharmacists are often able to give some minor medical advice. There are often times where they can see a rash and let them know that a certain product could help clear it up, or which medication or over-the-counter product can help with an infection or whether a red eye is pink eye. I'm not saying you're a doctor, and all pharmacists would follow their advice with "...but you should probably see your doctor and get it looked at to be sure." But there are times where pharmacists are able to help out with minor infections or something. My pharmacists are a huge part of my health team. Kind of goes with the job. Although with that said, checking out vaginal secretions is definitely way above your pay grade! Definite fyl!
Just because OP is qualified to work in the medical field doesn't mean they are qualified to help you with those lumps, bumps, and vaginal leakages.
I hope they at least limit that to when your on the clock and in the store as opposed to seeing you out in public.
okay.... okay..... okay.... WAIT! BACK UP. did you just say someone showed you their vaginal leakage? How does that even occur!?!?
A lot of time pharmacists are more trustworthy than a physician though. Doctors know how to prescribe, pharmacists know what the drug does. I've gotten better information from pharmacists than I have from my GP sometimes.
Oh Nooooooooooooo......
I'd like to know how the vaginal leakage discussion went down. Did she just whip our her clam there at the counter, or did she ask if you'd look at something for her, take you somewhere private and then just drop trout?
Boy that escalated quickly
You're in the field where people trust you to give them minor medical advice without the cost of actually seeing a doctor, so it's expected. However, vaginal leakage is definitely grossly extreme...

Pharmacists are ranked, year after year, as one of the most trusted occupations. Often times, the customer's situation can be helped by an over the counter product that can be bought in your store.
...congrats on the new job!
