Of course not! Her mom was stating that it was her "conception day".... The day a baby starting to form. Her birthday is probably around 9 months from now.

Actually, it would be hard to discern which day the conception actually happened. Fertilization can occur anywhere from half an hour to a week after sex, depending on when ovulation happens and factoring in how long sperm can live inside a uterus. Then the zygote travels down the fallopian tubes to implant in the uterus, which can take about 6-10 days. This also depends on your definition of conception - is it when fertilization occurs, or when the zygote implants (if it does, which is not always the case)? Science is fun. :)
