Today, a cop almost rear-ended my car, slammed on the gas with no warning, swerved around me, flipped me the bird, then cut me off and then drove a full ten miles under the speed limit. When I changed lanes to overtake him, he pulled me over for road rage. FML

Today, some aggressive asshole was tailgating me on my way home, bumping into me twice. I got scared and kicked my car into high gear and got out of there. Seconds later, a traffic cop came out of nowhere and pulled me over for speeding. FML

Today, I was tailgated on the highway. There was a car in the lane next to me, and my tailgater was WAY too close to risk slowing down, so I sped up in order to switch lanes, which bumped me over the speed limit. That's when my tailgater turned on the flashing lights. FML

Today, I was driving through a crossroad on the main road. A driver from the right got road rage, as I didn't let him go first. He drove past me and started brake-checking me. After that he followed me over whole city to scream and curse at me in front of my flat. I didn't break any the laws. FML

Today, the car in front of me was going slow and I flashed my lights and honked. I floored it and passed the car, flipping off the driver. Just as I went around the next corner I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop. A few seconds later, the guy I flipped off drove by honked and waved. FML

Today, I was tailgated by a car with his high beams on for an hour. Any time I changed my speed or lane, he would do the same. I finally managed to get away from him because a cop pulled me over and gave me a speeding ticket. FML

Today, after driving a few hours late at night I decided to entertain the car tailgating me by not letting him pass. After doing this for 3miles, reaching 93MPH, I decided to let the car pass me. When I switched lanes, the car tailgating me light up in red and blue. It was a cop. FML

Today, while I was driving, a police officer jumped out from the sidewalk and into my lane. I slammed on the brakes so I wouldn't hit him. He then gave me a ticket for "obstructing traffic." FML

Today, I was driving when a couple flipped the bird on me before cutting me off, so I flipped them off back. After they'd got away, another driver thought I'd actually been flipping him off and followed me into a parking lot. This guy was huge, and let’s just say he didn’t give me a chance to explain myself. FML

Today, while driving home, some idiot kept tailgating me, so I slowed down, hoping he'd overtake me. He didn't, so I pulled to the side of the road. He did the same, in front of me. He kept toying with me until I crashed into another car trying to speed away from him. FML

FYL. Some cops are douchebags. Go to the police station and ask them to give you a tape off the cop's car that day. After they review it, they might be willing to give it to you to contest the ticket if they don't want more trouble from you. Fight this. I don't know how well my plan would work, though.

The camera doesn't turn on unless the police lights and siren are on. My neighbor's a cop and that's how his police car works. I'm not sure if all of them are set up that way.

My boyfriends mom works for internal affairs. My boyfriend got his car searched one time, and the car was in his fathers name, which is illegal to do if they don't have permission by the owner to search the vehicle, and he told the cop that he's telling his mom and told him what she does and the cop like completely changed his attitude and everything, lmao.

I really don't think this is true. Most young people don't have their cars in their names because of insurance rates being so insane. If the law was that exact too many people would get off. Also on most cases the officer can use probable cause to search the vehicle without needing consent.

You can refuse to have them search your car but I believe that they can keep you there until they bring in sniff dogs. Either way, you're stuck there and wasting time. But your rights are your rights.
