Today, a customer asked for my manager's number, my bosses number, corporate's number and filled out a complaint form, all because we kindly asked him not to sit his kid on the counter due to safety concerns. FML

So? Give him all the numbers, even give him the number for the pope of America, that way he will look like even more of a fool while he whines about his lack of common sense.

Some people... You should be allowed to deny him all that for being an idiot. If he goes through with it he'll just make an ass of himself

If that ever happens at my work, the instant the germ-strewn cesspool is lifted, I immediately spray down the area while wearing a gaunt face.

The problem is, corporate takes complaints very seriously. And the guy will obviously not tell the truth and will exaggarate a lot. "The entire staff kept yelling at me! I was just trying to let my child sit down for a few minutes and they were so rude! I wasn't even doing anything wrong they just didn't want my child to sit down!!"

People like that suck. I would've given her all wrong numbers.

Corporate will send him a damned gift card.

I work in a retail pharmacy and deal with this level of ridiculousness all too often. It infuriates me and I feel your pain!

Would you kindly, ask that customer to bugger off?

Thank god you were there, the child could have been killed... GREAT WORK CHAMP!
