Sorry your wrong never talk about it.
A person's attitude is reflected in their body language and tone. You probably made it clear you devalued him because of his weight, even if you didn't mean to. Don't judge
Everybody judges all the time. It's impossible not to judge.
i hate rude customers!
I still think he deserves a discount... But God bless our troops! c:
A little overweight doesn't mean he isn't a veteran but still I think he overreacted
I love the detailed description
A lot of veterans gain weight after they come out. Some might be due to emotional trauma, but mostly it's because we were forced to work out 5-6 times a week plus a lot of movement and manual labor during the day. You get use to eating whatever you want. Then you get out and no one is screaming at you to run faster and the labor is a whole lot less manual and suddenly you find yourself packing on the pounds. I was able to break the cycle and get back into shape but it's an issue many veterans have in coming home.
Rule #1: You don't talk about Fight Club!!!!!

If you said that to him, I'd punch you too.
I think what a lot of the commenters are missing is the fact that it's a DONUT. It's not accommodation, or basic food, it's a luxury. If he can afford a donut he can afford full price.
