Today, a day after being informed that keeping my wallet in my front pocket was "strange", my wallet was stolen from my back pocket. FML

OP here. The person that told me that is was 'strange' is a friend of mine, so I dont think it was him. I didnt switch pockets because of his comment, but I just wanted to change it up a bit. Another friend found my wallet and returned it. I'm 15, so I don't have any money anyways...

Probably why your "friends" found it , because you had no money to begin with.

Un lucky, do what you want don't care what people think about you

Only George Constanza finds that strange..

Sorry, OP. But it isnt that strange, I thought it was until I met my now ex boyfriend. After seeing how much more comfortable he could sit without having to move his wallet; I had learned. Though, it IS still odd when a guy wears tighter (ish) jeans.

It's always best to listen to yourself above all others. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what other people say or think.

sorry OP.. hope you have learnt the lesson that never listen to stupid advises...

Don't let people tell you what's strange and what's not strange.

I get flack for it all the time. There's a reason the back pocket is known as the "sucker pocket." Keep doing what you're doing, dude. And by that I mean start using your front pocket again.

Sorry OP - but stick to your own principals don't bend to those that want to change you

I keep mine in my front pocket as well...after hearing having in the back pocket can mess up your posture it's best to keep in the front pocket...

All the guys I know have their wallet in there back pocket. So seeing someone having a wallet in the front seems kinda strange. But it doesn't matter either way do what you prefer. Also this depends a lot where people are from. When traveling through Europe my husband didn't carry a wallet and we kept most things in my PACsafe purse made to prevent theft. Also in crowded areas making a switch to the front pocket is a good idea.

Someone on our tour in Paris got his wallet grabbed outside the moulin rouge. The guide had repeatedly mentioned not to carry a wallet especially in your back pocket. He was pretty much guaranteed to have it stolen.
