JRech tells us more.
OP here. It's a FML to me because, I'm not ashamed of being a gamer, I feel that it's just a pretty dorky situation. I totally was caught off guard when the site gave this entry the green light. I just thought it would be funny to share. A bit of background though, #155 is completely right, it's only been like 4 years.

It's ok, something similar happened to me only at the library. I went to go rent a DVD (I usually rent books) and the librarian said I had to be 18 or older to rent dvd's. I told her I was going to be 19 in May (this happened in March.) She's been working there since I've been going there at around the age of 5, and she said it didn't seem like I was 18.
That's neither an FML not a YDI. At least he was cool about it.
dude no joke, i've had this exact same thing happen to me. I was about 4"11 my freshman year, and i would go to Borders Books a lot when my mom dragged me to the mall. Like 2 years later i grew to 6"2 and a guy who worked at Borders creepily said to me "You've really grown up, haven't you?"
You grew 6.5 inches a year?...
I totally agree with #6, his life is pretty sad- working in a video game store for so many years. Loooooooooooser! FHL!
Option 3: So? Who cares? I think it's cute!
That's not bad, you just buy games at one store. I work at home depot and I see the same people 2-3 times a day every day I work.
I agree with 15. I don't see how this is a FML at all. It just means he's a loyal employee who had learned to recognize a loyal customer. Happens all the time, I thought it was cute.

That's more of FHL. He's been working at a game store for all those years. Atleast you had an excuse, you liked playing video games. Not all kids are into going out and playing sports etc.
i don't gets whats bad about that... so the guy who works at the store knows you, it's a mark of a good salesperson
