JRech tells us more.
OP here. It's a FML to me because, I'm not ashamed of being a gamer, I feel that it's just a pretty dorky situation. I totally was caught off guard when the site gave this entry the green light. I just thought it would be funny to share. A bit of background though, #155 is completely right, it's only been like 4 years.

Hey, it only took two trips for the woman at this one Chinese restaurant to recognize me. Really doesn't take much, sometimes. One Gamestop, I had an employee take one look at me and immediately head over to pull out my preorder, apologizing the entire time, before I showed my ID or anything...they remembered 'cause I was the only girl who preordered SC3. ... That being said and done, a random dude gushing about how he watched you grow up is kinda creepy.
I completely agree with kmangwing. I worked at a Gamestop for 3 years while working at another job, simply because I enjoyed it. Also, the salesperson in this case could have been a manager, and managing a Gamestop pays fairly well as far as I've been told, so it really isn't "sad" if the person has been working there for a long time.
Lol the irony of #5. Someone with 19308 visits to fmylife.com telling someone to go get some sun. Heh.
true say
#30 you just made my day. battletoads rules, and there are endless ways to profit in that scenario
so?
This is definitely more sad for the guy that has been working there since you were a kid... unless he owns it... doubtful though.

That's more of FHL. He's been working at a game store for all those years. Atleast you had an excuse, you liked playing video games. Not all kids are into going out and playing sports etc.
i don't gets whats bad about that... so the guy who works at the store knows you, it's a mark of a good salesperson
