Creepy ass
Well you don't seem paranoid at all!
Seeing as how this is on FML. Op finds it creepy and is freaked out because only her family knew about that a few days ago. The worker had no way of knowing unless he creeped on her, which he did, by talking to her family and being a weirdo.
obviously you MUST know the OP very well. maybe she should get a retraining order against you since you seem to know for 100% sure that she's never mentioned her favorite flowers to anyone other than her family
As far as she remembers, in recent history, she has only told her family. But she may not remember the day a customer had a sunflower necklace or someone's calendar had a picture of sunflowers and she said, "Those are my favorite." in passing. If this guy has had a crush on OP and overheard he'd remember, because things about her are important to him. That's not creepy. It's sweet. The real problem is likely that OP isn't attracted to this dude. Women don't typically get upset over cute guys giving them flowers.
This guy seems into you. Give him a chance. For all you know you could have nonchalantly mentioned in a conversion, and he took it to heart.
Just a little stalkerish...or I hope word spread

You probably mentioned it at work as well and forgot. Relax.
I love how it took 11 comments for a good one.
