Today, a guy in a fancy car tailed me for twenty minutes, just so he could take a picture of my license plate and tell me there's a $300 fine for flicking cigarette ashes out your window. FML

Where do you live where is a fine to flick cigarette ashes out the car window.... let alone a 300$ fine?? Is this somewhere in the USA if so please let me know so I don't go there?? Also how does that law apply to smokers walking down the street smoking a cigarette? where are they supposed to flick their ashes? I can understand not flicking the cigarette butt out the window or on the ground because they burn longer putting a higher risk of a ?. Either way even if it was a legit law, how do you actually prove somebody was flicking "technically invisible" (as they are not shown on cameras especially the shitty dash cams cops have) ashes out a window unless a fire actually does spark from it?? Honestly curious here, not trying to sound like a bitch lol.
