Today, a McDonald's employee had to correct my math after counting out $2.37 in change. I'm in AP Calculus and am currently learning how to find the derivative of an inverse of a logarithm. FML

No big deal. Simple mistake. I have a PhD in English and misstype/spell words weekly. That doesn't mean I'm any less intelligent.

Who the **** you think you are that someone from mcdonalds can't be smart? A lot of people work at chain restarunts to pay for school, medical bills, etc.

the same kind of stuff happened to me. derivatives were easy but addition and subtraction were more difficult than it should have been.

you are a tool. get over yourself. that is not an fml moment. maybe you should learn some basic human interaction as opposed to your precious ap calc.

As a McDonald's employee who is currently taking Calculus and Algebra in university, this made me mad. Thanks to all those who have stood up for us so far. We count hundreds of customers change everyday, and since we know you're in a rush, its not embarrassing at all if you make a mistake. What is embarrassing, is when you assume you're smarter than us, and try to prove it by telling us all about what you're learning when, let's face it, the derivative of the inverse of a logarithm sounds fancy and important, but is really pretty basic.

hahahahaha you're gonna be that that fml where he got a full ride scholarship in college but is now working at a fast food place

ok asshole just cuz sum1 works at mccdonalds doesnt mean their not in school, and dirivitaves of inverses and derivatives in general are basic 1st semester pre calc

I think people have already ripped this guy enough. Let me just say, one more time, that if you're in high school, you're automatically stupid regardless of what classes you're taking. Realize that, online, there will be more university and graduate students (and just graduates) than high school students, so while AP Calculus might be impressive to your dumb friends, it becomes a laughable matter for the rest of us. It gets even worse when you mention very simple things simply because it sounds cool.

Just because they work in McDonalds doesn't mean they can't add... gosh...

well, that's funny considering I work at McDonalds and take honors calculus. Nice, Asshole. way to stereotype.
