Because McDonald's employees can never take Calculus. Also, Calculus doesn't involve much addition or subtraction, so taking that is completely separate from your ability to count correct change. Which you should know. Have fun in your minimum wage job in 5 years when you graduate college.

Inverse of Log(x) = Exp(x) Derivative of Exp(x) = Exp(x) While the OP is an idiot for mentioning AP Calc I'd also like to add that on the cash registers now they actually tell the employees what the change is, AND exactly how to give it: (as in the employee will literally see "3 quarters, 2 dimes, 4 pennies" or whatever the correct change is).
