Today, a snow storm rolled into my small town, leaving my car stuck under 3 feet of snow. I called my boss to tell her I couldn't drive to work. Her reply? "Walk." FML

lol, i had to call in to work once because my car wouldn't start, & my boss offered to come pick me up. talk about awkward.

Exactly. There aren't generally very many jobs in a small town. Most likely OP works a little farther away.

Commenters, how many adults outside of big cities have a job close enough that walking (especially in three feet of snow) is a feasible option? Very few.

I live in a fairly large (note land wise) takes about 30m to drive to work. If someone tried to even drive in that, here, and got stuck? The cops/tow/anyone else wouldnt help them out. Its safety policy

We're getting a storm in Ontario tonight. No school tomorrow!! :D Lol, that's the only good thing about winter. Walking in the snow sucks OP. :/ If it's more than a mile, don't do it.
