A whole 3 feet of snow? Well you obviously can't brush or shovel that off your car in 10 minutes, so you should miss a whole day at work because of this terrible event.
so? thats what I wouldve dkne
Of course you should walk. You twat. It's your job to be there. It's none of your boss' concern how you get there.
That literally happened to me, I was sixteen and we had one if the worst snowstorms in twenty years, the roads were closed, no buses running and I lived a good ten miles from work. My boss said "well just figure out a way to get there". Meanwhile he was only a mile away but chose to stay in his large house with a fireplace. Needless to say I quit and found a better job. Sorry your boss was just as awful.
Only three feet? If you're in a town that typically receives this much snow normally, then the main streets should be well clear even by 8 AM. After that, most neighborhoods have at least one person with a pick up and snow plow attachment for side streets. I'm assuming you must live in town if your boss suggested walking so it should be no problem to dig out and drive to work. And if for some reason you live on the east or west coast (and we all know they can't handle winter like midwesterners ;D) then your town would simply shut down. Sounds like OP is being a bit lazy...
