Today, a weird guy approached me and started asking me many questions. I didn't know how to get out of this situation, so I suddenly ran away shouting, "Stranger danger! " I'm 21. FML

Haha, this was actually pretty funny. I bet he must've been baffled, for a while. Plus, it worked, so thumbs up to you, OP! :)

I don't know what was stranger, your reaction or the stranger.

It's weird thinking "I need an adult" and then realizing you are one

Well, at least your parents taught you well.

Having Asperger's Syndrome, I can empathise. I'm not great at talking either, especially if it's in public with people I don't know (& I'm 28 in about 2 weeks). I especially get nervous with questions myself, as it reminds me of school (which used to be the cause of numerous panic attacks & sick days). Luckily for me, though, I always have a close family member there with me & they usually speak on my behalf. Some might think I overreact, but they don't know what happens to me when I start getting nervous. Literally, my throat would be paralysed to the point where I feel like someone is actually & physically squeezing my throat closed (& if anyone still didn't get the message & kept trying to make me talk; I'd eventually break down in tears every time). It's quite awful, the way it makes me feel, but I have no control of it whatsoever. Those are just some of the things I have to deal with, though (believe it or not, that isn't even the worst). Luckily, I don't give up on life that easily. =o)

that is so sad and rude!! how would you feel if someone did that to you?! at least they had the balls to come talk to you! you could have at least been nice in walking away!!

I think everyone should understand that the OP's FML is about what she did not that the guy came up to her and started talking
