Today, it's been two months since I started dating a woman I met at work after she had found out her boyfriend cheated on her. She confessed to me she only looked through his phone to find evidence so she wouldn’t feel bad for liking me. I was happy as can be for two months. Now she’s now going back to her ex. We all see each other every Sunday. FML

Today, my girlfriend contacted me. She said she'd thought over her feelings over our temporary break in the relationship, and she wanted to try again. Being my stupid, self-loathing self, I asked her so many questions on if she was sure or not that she went back into doubt and revoked the offer. FML

Ditch her now. Apparently nothing you can do will ever make her as happy as her ex did. And she'll spend the rest of your life making you feel like crap for it. She evidently lacks any ability to understand how saying such a thing would make you feel. And her lack of empathy indicates a tendency towards sociopathic behaviour. Run, Run now. Run far away, And never look back.

he absolutely needs a new girlfriend. you can't help the fact she is not over him, it never was, and never will be about you. nothing the op can do will change that. egoburn, fyl, et al... now on the bright side, she probably has "friends" who have noticed that you are treating her way better than she deserves all things considered. what you are looking for here is friends who have cause to be jealous of her, or who can't get things going on their own. if you want to refine your target, ask your girlfiriend about her friends, this will be the dagger, way later. once you know which of her disloyal, jealous friends will sleep with you, because of how you doted on the lost cause, you can at least get some payback in strange.
